Learn how to speak Turkish Turkish, also referred to as Istanbul Turkish, is the most widely spoken of the Turkic languages, with around 10–15 million native speakers in Southeastern Europe (mostly in European Turkey) and 55–60 million native speakers in Western Asia (mostly in Asian Turkey). It is meant to be used as a crash course in a foreign language for basic conversational ability by a foreign traveler or diplomat. It is an introductory course meant for beginners and includes basic conversational language by native speakers. This course consists of 56 lessons in mp3 format, with 2 student texts in PDF format of over 700 pages.
